A word from our Inventor, Joe Altieri

When I received an email in 2019 from someone claiming to be a Shark Tank producer expressing interest in featuring FlexScreen on the show, I assumed it was SPAM and ignored it. Days later, when a call from "Sony Pictures'' appeared on my cell phone, it hit me that this might be real.

Just a few months later, I was standing before the Sharks and the 30+ million viewers of the show, presenting the product I had invented in my garage - and it was surreal. Having three of the five Sharks battle over FlexScreen and hooking a deal with Lori Greiner exceeded my expectations - and that was only the beginning.

After that first appearance in Season 11, company growth skyrocketed, and FlexScreen was featured again in a Season 12 Shark Tank Update segment where Lori Greiner said, "Our goal with FlexScreen is to replace the window screen industry completely.” 

Fast forward a few more years, and with the help of Erdman Automation, FlexScreen entered the world of automation, creating the world's first automated window screen line that produces screens at record-breaking speeds. This innovation led to licensing, which led to even greater success and a second Shark Tank Update segment in 2025. During that update, Lori stated: "I actually think that FlexScreen may wind up to be one of the best and most successful products in Shark Tank history.”

We are well on our way.

In February 2025, FlexScreen was acquired by RiteScreen, the largest independent screen manufacturer in the country. This journey from an idea in my garage to a true American Dream success story could not have happened without the love and unwavering support of my family, friends, and colleagues - and I am forever grateful.
