You’ve asked, and we’ve answered! Top FlexScreen FAQs from 2022

Women Using the FlexTenna to Measure Easily for her new FlexScreen’s

We know you have questions about how FlexScreen can be your new replacement window screen solution, and we’re here to answer them. Here are some of the most Frequently Asked Questions of 2022!

1. Does FlexScreen come in different colors?

We only offer the screen frame in black. Because the screen frame hides in the pocket of the window, there is no need for color matching like traditional replacement window screens! No pockets? No problem! FlexScreens’ elegant design looks fantastic in any window style, from casement to double-hung windows.

2. Does FlexScreen work on doors?

FlexScreen may work for your doors. First, identify the screen size you need. Our maximum screen size is 55″ wide x 80″ high; in most cases, we can manufacture a large screen to replace the one in your current door. The second thing to consider is whether your existing door’s screen pocket (the channel in which your screen will sit) is compatible with our flexible frame. If your screen pocket is at least 5/16″ wide, then FlexScreen should be able to fit! If you have any questions regarding compatibility, don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team.

3. Can I measure my old window screen?

Do not measure your old window screens. The FlexScreen measuring process is different from traditional window screens. Instead, please go to http://www.flexscreenretail.com/pages/howto to watch our measuring video and use our measuring guide.

4. What is FlexScreen made of?

The flexible frame is made from phosphate-enhanced spring steel coated with an exterior grade, high-performance PVC, which provides outstanding scratch and weather resistance. We then weld insect screens to the frame of FlexScreen.

5. Do you ship to Canada or internationally?

We currently do not ship outside of the contiguous United States, but we hope to extend FlexScreen to Canada and beyond in the coming years.

6. How will FlexScreen hold up to pets?

The FlexScreen frame is damage resistant and should have no problem with pets, but we suggest upgrading to our FlexView Tuff mesh if you have animals. This mesh is more rip and tear-resistant than our standard mesh and will hold up better to our four-legged friends.
